After a couple of planning sessions our eldest Scouts, and some Explorers who previously missed out due to covid, completed their exploration of the North Down Coastal path. Travelling by train to Holywood, then hiking the rest of the way to Crawfordsburn Scout Centre (leaders shadowing and checkpoints) for an overnight stay, before continuing on foot to Bangor the next day. They had Crawfordsburn all to themselves so made good use of the lid…playing badminton, rounders and cooking sheltered from the rain. Saturday evening we were entertained by lots of singing and dancing scouts/explorers on the stage. Well done everyone 🤩🤩
