This week we met on St Patrick’s day, so we completed some Irish themed activities. We made Laura’s Leprechaun hats. Then we had a team race using Finn McCools Causeway stones to travel to the rainbow, coloured the rainbow with skittles then back across the hall on the stones. First team back won the Leprechauns pot of gold/treasure and everyone enjoyed their skittles. Katie entertained us with some Irish dancing and then taught Beavers their three’s. Finally the bean bag game before home time.
At the previous couple of meetings we were working towards the health and fitness badge, looking at the seasons, planting bulbs and playing team games. Very busy Beavers!!
