Cubs all had a seasonal themed evening this week, with vampires, pirates, skeletons and ghosts in full attendance.
Apples were dunked, hoops were hula’d and chairs were musicalled? A fun evening for all…
There will be no meeting of Cubs on 31st October due to the half-term break.
At our Beaver meeting on the 9th October we had a visit from Will who is a paramedic. We learnt what to do in the event of an accident, how to open an airway and to do CPR. We got lots of practice on Annie!
As part of our Safety Badge tonight we met Fred, a member of the RNLI team, who made us feel very welcome at the Life Boat Station in Portrush. He taught us how to stay safe around water and what to do in an emergency. We enjoyed our tour, especially seeing the lifeboat and trying on the uniforms.
